I have been working with Ryan and her company for at least 10 years and her work is amazing. She truly goes above and beyond and is always willing to offer out-of-the-box ideas if needed. Mostly, she nails it the very first time - whether it is a magazine, ad, a logo or otherwise. Highly recommend her, and I am happy to serve as a referral or reference if you'd like to reach out to me.

What a great company to work with! During the design process for my logo, Ryan was more than attentive to my thoughts and we worked together as a team. She was also there to help convert my logo design to other marketing tools such as business cards, notepads. Her communication was consistent and I always felt cared for. Everything looks so beautiful and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend this company to anyone for logo design and brand development.

Ryan Anne Polli >> Designer/Owner

An Elk Grove/Wilton native, Ryan has been involved in the community she grew up in for the last 20 years. Currently living in West Elk Grove with her daughter, one-eyed dog and a spicy cat, when she is not behind the helm of her design business, she is at the track or the bike park.

Ryan is a graduate of the early Graphic Design program at California State University, Sacramento, leaving with a Bachelor degree in 2003. She has been Art Director for a number of publications and has a lifetime of experience in the equestrian world, competing until her early 20’s, but trading the saddle for a computer to market those making the industry their focus. Her time riding, competing, and working for equestrian competitions ranging from grass-roots to $1,000,000 Grand Prix level events, combined with her creative mind makes her uniquely able to create lasting brands for those in the horse world.

However, her design work does not stop at four legs. Applehead Design operates on the idea that good design and marketing doesn’t come from a big flashy studio and buzz word  laden branding packages. A small town coffee shop that aims to sell their roast online requires a different brand package than a local bike shop that focuses on repair work. We will go above and beyond to establish your goals as a business, who your target audience is, and the right direction to fit your budget and get you on the right track.
